Kennedy Space Center – Atlantis

The new Atlantis Space Shuttle facility is the marquee element of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex’s and Delaware North Companies Parks and Resorts’ master revitalization plan. The home of the last space-flown orbiter includes a unique guest viewing area created to look at the complex vehicle up-close and video viewing of the space shuttle in flight and how the spacecraft worked in space. Complementing the orbiter display are interactive features including the Hubble Space Telescope and the International Space Station. At the entrance to the Atlantis exhibit is a full-size upright replica of the external fuel tank and solid-fuel rocket boosters.
