SCAD Digital Media Center

This project included transforming an open upper deck of the Digital Media Center’s parking garage into a state-of-the-art film studio for the Television and Film department. The project is a 3,500 square foot addition, enclosing the open upper deck of the existing parking garage to house a new film and television studio and classrooms. The project scope included demolition of existing helicopter landing pad, leveling of existing terrace, steel framing, EIFS façade with Ipe wood louver accents, STC rated partitions and doors, specialty flooring, theatrical equipment, MEP tie in, and new parking deck screening.
