The Atlanta International School is one of the city’s foremost private schools. This school houses grades kindergarten through twelfth grade, with an additional focus on foreign language immersion. The campus consists of multiple buildings all located in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta.
The new Atlanta International School – Primary School Learning Center features a three-story addition that adjoins to the existing primary school as well as the existing library. The new building boasts twenty-one additional classrooms, outdoor classrooms, flex spaces, shared work areas, makerspaces. The project also adds a new face to the campus by addition of a brand-new curtain wall pavilion/entrance into the school. The scope of the project included a new cooling tower that not only supplies the new building, but also the existing buildings in the surrounding area.
Additionally, the school gained a new 9,000+ square foot courtyard, that adds even more outdoor classroom spaces. Finally, the Primary School Learning Center project added a new cafeteria in place of the second floor of the existing library.
