Renovation and expansion of GA Power’s Sands Place Operations Headquarters main building, which includes ~13,500 sq. ft. of additional storeroom storage space and office space, as well as a new forklift ramp and loading dock. Also included was the addition of a Pre-Engineered Metal Building covered storage space and the renovation of the existing Fleet Garage.  

Several site and exterior improvements were involved as well such as a new chain-link security fence and gate, replacement of the sanitary sewer main, a complete landscaping package at the front of the headquarters building, and the replacement of the dry sprinkler system and gypsum ceiling in the covered parking area.  

The phase 1 expansion included new storage racking, shop fans, wire mesh security partitions, overhead coiling doors, sealed concrete, MEPs, fire alarm system, and fire sprinkler system.  

The interior renovation in phases 2, 3, and 4 was comprised of the demolition of existing interior office space partition layout, MEPs, some exterior windows, millwork, finishes, doors and hardware, accessories, etc. and the installation of a new partition layout, MEPs, millwork, finishes, doors and hardware, accessories, exterior windows, etc. The interior renovation also included the replacement of a sanitary line running through phase 2, an addition to phase 2 under the covered parking area to add more offices, some new storefronts, roller shades, and new kitchen appliances.
