Woodward Academy – Richardson Hall

SG Contracting was hired in December to complete a renovation and addition of an existing building at Woodward Academy. The project consists of an addition to the existing Richardson Hall building on the main campus, and an interior renovation of some areas on the 1st floor of the same building. The scope of the addition included a new vestibule, a rehearsal classroom for orchestra, 2 canopies, and an office. The renovation scope included enclosing both existing breezeways to expand the sculpture studio and to provide a new office; adding new openings between two spaces to expand the sculpture studio; and dividing the old orchestra room to create two classrooms, one for percussions and one for theater. Some other existing spaces received new flooring and new paint.
