Southern Crescent Rehabilitation

Southern Crescent Rehabilitation & Retirement Center is a single-story, 22,000 square-foot wood frame building offering 40 patient beds and a rehabilitation facility. A major challenge that SG Contracting successfully overcame was securing the necessary approvals and permits from the Army Corps of Engineers and Georgia Environmental Protection Division to pipe an existing creek through a 12.5-foot culvert that was installed underneath the entrance road. Given the environmental sensitivity, SG Contracting also executed and monitored proper erosion and sediment controls.
